Your Own Domain

More time and money has been wasted on creating corporate web pages in the past decade than on nearly any other activity. And yet, everyone knows that companies need web pages to let people know they are serious about business. A good web page can do far more than that, but the online equivalent of a one-page flyer is pretty much the minimum acceptable web page these days for small businesses.

Additionally, your company looks more professional if your email addresses are all part of a company domain (joe@mycompany.com) rather than a bunch of disconnected accounts at AOL, MSN, Earthlink and the like. Besides, joe@mycompany.com is far easier to remember than joe236454958198421414@aol.com

For customers who have the need, we can let you be the administrator for your own mail domain so you can add, delete, change passwords and the like for all the accounts on your company's domain. There are other advantages of having your own domain. Have you had to notify all your customers recently that your email address has changed because your huge ISP was swallowed up by an even larger one? Did you have to reprint your business cards and stationary? If you have your own domain, you own it. If something happens to your ISP, or you just get mad at him, you can transfer your domain to another provider and be up and running overnight. Your customers will never know. Your email addresses won't change, your web page will look the same and you won't have to reprint anything. Any time you wish, you can move your domain to any one of thousands of providers.
